“Mothering daughtering alchemy, the half-day retreat”

Mothering teenage girls is a big challenge when we don’t understand what our daughters are going through, especially when we have not healed parts of our inner teenager. It is easy to project onto them our fear based on our personal experiences.

Daughthering as a teenager is H A R D, your whole being hurts and you don’t even understand what is happening. You question everyone and everything. You learn about yourself more and more, and find your own identity, beyond the morals you were raised with. You become your person. And more than likely you have been or are at odds with being a daughter, and girl turning into a woman.

During our half-day retreat experience in Miami, we will sit together setting intentions for the day, a blessing circle ceremony to honor ancient rites of passage that have not been yet recognized for our women's lineage.

We will embark on a kayaking experience as a team to bond and connect with rowing together instead of against each other.

As soon as we arrive at the beach with our Kayaks, we will share snacks and take a break to enjoy the ocean.

My daughters, Julieta 13, and Isabella 16, will lead a circle for your daughters and practice body reunion activities as I will be guiding you mommas through our own set of magical ceremonial practices! soon after, we will have a series of combined activities to reconnect with mothering and daughtering in a whole new way.

It does not have to be a lonely path, especially if we understand that we are on the same team and we add God to the mix! There is nothing to fix, just honor and recognize.

The Experience will be held in Hollywood, FL at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park

We will begin our circle promptly at 8:15 am

After that, we will begin the adventure as we bond with your daughters through Kayaking together and head to the most beautiful beach. There we will be having rituals and activities for teenagers only and mothers apart. We will come together to deepen the connection and then head back to the initial circle place to share lunch!

Appropriate ages for the mother-daughter retreat: 12-17, and please note the price is per couples, if you have two daughters we will give you a discount, send me an email to daniela@the-joy-alchemist.com

• Rental price for Kayaks
